For 95% of the game, it does not matter; only a few rare costume unlocks costs more than 250g. However, I am not going to sugarcoat it, because it is a bit limiting at 40. I have been proposing to increase the cap to 1000g, but the main reasoning is to fight gold farmers/sellers. I can imagine in soon, they might change it or at least give an option to increase it through the c-store.

Are you able to balance your curreny out between your alts?

Also if I hit the currency cap does any currency I get after that get banked for if I ever want to pay a sub or do I just loose it?
