So I wondered how's things now?

All my characters are gold, they are mixed with powers.. But a question I have now, as I cannot log in on any without ruining them(by a convert), I can see that several travel powers one has to buy now. But some of the gold characters I have already picked the jet boots(f.ex.) as a travel power, how does this work.

I expect that when I buy the gold account, that my old characters will be as they were, with rocket boots.

And Cryptic has also said that there won't be any difference then before. So my question ends in this, will I have to buy the rocket boots in addition to the gold subscription now??

If so, Cryptic has fucked up all my characters, and I will abandon the game permanent. But if not, I might resubscribe.

Gold subscription comes with all of that included. If you go to the store, anything that says "GOLD!" across the item comes free with gold subscription. That includes all powers and most costume sets.

As for your Rocket Boots character, if you resub then you will be a gold member, and you will not have to convert him to a f2p character. Thus, he will need no respec, or anything, he'll be fine the way he is. If you convert him to a free character, then he will automagically get a respec into whatever Archtype you make him, and he will lose the travel power during the respec, at which time you choose a different one.

You can only do the conversion once, and once you do they're stuck that way forever, so if you don't want to lose his gold powerset you'd be better off making a new character or playing a different one you're less attached to.
