I am wondering does anyone know of any reliable download links for the full client? The offical downloader has pretty much stoped once I hit 33% done. 0.000 kb/s. Its not my connection (fiber optic here) its probally just getting hammered, they linked to 2 other sites to get it but both require a purchaise and isin't a free download.

That's what I used. It worked, but you got to patch a little after. 

What if you have the original cd/dvd that the game came on. Is it faster to try and grab the full install or to patch?

 I tried the original DVD install , no go I'm afraid just keeps timing out , stinks a little tbh but hey its free now so what the hell.

I'm getting unbelievably slow download from official site too.  :(

Just a quick update , I just tried the original install again and now its patching up ! ??? dunno whats going on tbh lol. So sorry for the wrong information .... its also now patching at Warp speed too wooot !!

The F2P downloader is actually a torrent, and a buggy, poorly made one at that, so it tends to go really slowly and can cause issues... Even an option where you would have to do a significant amount of patching might actually  end up being quicker and more painless. Oh and the displayed information on the GUI for the downloader can be totally incorrect. Several times when I was downloading it would state it only had, for instance 11% done when in fact it was more like 42% and was downloading at 0.00 kb/s etc...
