So wow, this game is basically CoH 2. So I can totally see myself enjoying my time here. It sucks I couldn't bind "target nearest friend" or target "destrutable things" to my joystick. I would buy it but, If i want to do a super hero MMO I will do DC Universe. it will be new and probably way more populated then CoH and Champions...

What did you first timers think?

It seemed fun for the time I played it but I purchased STO and know that most of Cryptics games are fun at first but short on content later.  At one time I was actually thinking of buying this and playing for a few months and then I remembered how much I hate the C-Store and paying a little more each time something was released in the game.  If it had not been for STO, I probably would have purchased this game based on the three days I played it.

No offense, but if you haven't hit 50 by now, you kinda are less of a player - Cthulhu23

The very idea that SV is in financial trouble is wrong. The numbers they release from time to time are just that, numbers. -Username509

Actually it's not even close to CoH 2. It's what would happen if you took CoH, gave it slightly better graphics in most areas, removed the 3d ragdoll physics and then butchered everything else and threw in a cash shop.

Playing: Diablo 3, Tribes Ascend, Skyrim

Disappointed by open beta feedback: GW2
Waiting for: TSW

Let's be honest, the only people who are bothered by DRM are pirates. Companies have a right to protect their IP.

Ragdoll physics are over rated. Graphics are alot better (I like the cell-shaded look). Cash shop has nothing that gives you any sort of game play advantage, just new costume pieces and rename tokens.

The most fun i had was designing my heros. I logged in and got to about lvl15 before getting totally bored. It just didn't hook me at all.

Glad i had a chance to trial it as spending any money would have been a waste.

I agree with you. Cash shop is mostly cosmentics and things like min-figs that follow you around, or additional character slots. CO was not butchered by the shop at all. in fact , I have been playing going Rogue too and with all the additions to CO there is plenty of stuff to do. I think CO is not more fun.
