I played this game in beta and thought id just check the price and see if its worth the free month and noticed this
http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/6080087/Champions-Online/Product.html
On Play.com which is mainly for UK/Europe its only £1.99? Im in no ways a fan boy just thought id share this with everyone here who ever thought about playing it as its free postage aswell, so good result! Currently playing : Darkfall |

Originally posted by Silverwatch Wow, that's seriously cheap, I bought mine for £4.99 from Gamestation which is good enough. I'm currently playing this game and I love it, I admit it's a lot more fun then most online Fantasy games. The only thing I'm disappointed with was that I couldn't have a travel ability that enables my jet-pack on my character. I'm surpraised Champions Online is so cheap in the first place, if I manage to beat everything in the game then maybe I could try City of Heroes next or DC Universe Online when that comes out. Want to Play: The Secret World Played: Aion, Allods Online, AoC, Champions Online, Dungeons & Dragons Online, Earth Eternal, EQ2, Knights Online, LotRO, Runes of Magic, WAR, WoW. |

Originally posted by Sevenwind Yeah, I really should make a screenshot of my sexy babe, this is the first MMO I've played for ages that I actually like plus I'm glad I can get to play as something I really like, I've always been a fan of ranged characters in MMO's.
Originally posted by SgtFrog I really don't see anything wrong with this game, true that it doesn't have as much content as City of Heroes but it's still enjoyable. Champions isnt a serious in depth MMO, but if you need a wee change and want some quick fun then £1.99 is a real bargain. |

Originally posted by SgtFrog I hate burger king. I'm on my way there to tell them how much i hate everything about them.
Anyone know if i buy the game and stack the game time like in STO? Just to let you know, a beta test isn't for you to try the game. You go out of your way to help the developers out, not go "DERP, GAME R BAD RAEGQUIT" and then do nothing at all to help. |

Originally posted by Beachcomber I hate to agree here but I guess if you've never played it 1.99 isn't too terrible, now I've played it and know I disliked it enough to not play it for free but I've seen people be entertained by games I thought were just as bad if not worse than this one. I couldn't get past the starter zone though too cheesy for me, I honestly thought it was a big step down from COH so I could never justify playing it myself. |

This is the perfect quickie game. Easy to play off and on and not be completely lost. I was considering playing it again for a bit. I like it better than STO but both are good quickie games. |

Personally I don't want to give money to a company that screwed up Star Trek |

£1.99! Can't argue with that beeing a bargin no matter what you think of the game. Personaly I don't think very highly of it, but even so, that right there is a good deal. |

Originally posted by Isaralas Someone already questioned this on Steam forums when a guy bought 5 copies but no one answered. However, I have ordered a copy since imo £1.99 is nothing when it comes to maybe getting a free month, if not I can always make 2 referals and get a month for £3.98 which is still cheap so its win-win scenario imo. Hell I might even give away the referred accounts if I can't use the key myself. ::UPDATE:: I can confirm that this does NOT give you an extra month, it doesn't even allow you to apply the key. |
