No compromise, even in the face of Armageddon.

It is usually not something I think about. But after playing the free weekned and talking to my German countrymen about CO, I hear many people from Germany who would like to try or play CO have intentionally skipped it because they felt they wanted regional servers. And indeed, when you play afternoon or evening in Central Europe time, not only there are way less people but practically everyone solos. For people who don't speak English it is generally difficult to find people of their language, and even more to play in those times. While the game itself can be played in German or many other languages, I see that the 1-server idea is a HUGE barrier for most gamers from non-English speaking countries, esp. those like Germany and France who usually have language servers on every other MMO.

Personally, I don't care, tho I must say the lack of servers takes this "seeing familiar faces" away I love from being part of "server community XYZ". And being able to swap through 20+ copies of a world kinda takes the emotional attachment away. At least for me.
