Well, it's just another fantasy MMO. It has nothing new really. Graphics and models are not exaclty professional. Let alone the grammar on the site :P

 The questing system they are talking about existed years ago ie. in KOTOR, or Baldurs series, or to go even further back in  Dark Sun, 15 years ago :) Just it was never put into an MMO yet, but no worries, Bioware is working for this system for the MMO title.

Another thing is I can't let the thought go, that this game is just like Renessaince. And it looks preatty fishy, that they don't name any of the devs, when they are talking about shipped titles :o

By your own comment this is new, as you state, it has NEVER been put into an MMO yet'.  I guess that's the WHOLE point.  However, even so you are incorrect.  KOTOR, Baldures and Dark Sun were linear RPGs.   Pretty good ones, yes, and I enjoyed playing them more than most MMOs.  BUT they were linear.  Everyone did the same thing.  The devs for CoS have clearly stated that this is a dynamic world where each person's story will be different, not a linear game like those you mentioned.

As for personal details about themselves that they don't what to reveal to people like yourself, I certainly don't blame them.  I don't see you adding your real name to your posts.   This isn't 'fishy' its just smart.

I'm so excited about this game and I've never been so excited about ANY mmo before. I don't play MMO's for the PvP, I play for the content and the quests and the rpg aspect of the game so this is right up my alley.

The questing that Jatar described really reminds me of one of those "chose your own ending" books where you get to page 3 and it tells you that you can pick either "a" and go to page 15, or pick "b" and go to page 23, or pick "c" and go to page 17, and then whatever you pick, you go to that page, do a little more reading, get further in the story and then you get more choices that will lead you on a different path.

SO much fun, I always loved the chose your own ending books. They're alot of fun to write too.

I'm gonna be keeping a close eye on CoS. I can't wait!

Let's see, you are sticking up for a game that won't be released for another 3-5 years, and yet you think that this game is vaporware?   I also find Renaissance an interesting game...But still....All you have done on this thread is talk trash about the game without even looking up imformation. 

This game has enought money invested, as they stated, and they have a dev come here and explain about the game....So how the hell is this vaporware...  '

Also, I do not blame them for not telling their names. There is no need for people to know their names, as  it is of no importance.

LOL its cool. I think there are a lot of excited about the cocepts they are laying out for us and had to see people trash something that they have not even done their home work on.

I am not say that their idea will be perfect  but  the devs  deserve a chance to present their Ideas, and maybe our excitement will attact developers that will allow them to  turn their ideas in to reality.
