Earthrise was scroomed when they decided that it should be an FFA full loot pvp game and exceptionally scroomed when they decided to launch it 6 months too early. |

Nice title. Not mention the game could not be played 3 days before release how was possible to fix everything in 3 days or 2 months. Thats why they deserve to shut down everything. |

SO glad i decided to wait for Rift then rather pick this up on a wimb like i was going too.. Actually, i decided i'd wait for Xyson instead and then while waiting for Xyson i played a lot of EvE online and was sorta lookin for a theme park MMO (been a long time since i've played one) and Rift really impressed me.. I'm sure it's not helping Earth Rise's condition one bit.. This game was doomed the moment they decided to release it into all the bad publicity it garnered and its shoddy connection/server. ![]() Currently Playing: |

If they can give you 20,000 then they can give you 100,000. If they bitch about it ruining the economy, tough shit. That's their problem not yours. Likewise with your crafting points. In my experience you CAN actually have an impact on the decisions they make. There is NO miracle patch. 95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch. Hope is not a stategy. |

I read about this a few days ago and it is extremely sad to see it happen. Earthrise has been plagued with more problems than any other MMORPG I have ever wtinessed. Only one thing in the history of MMORPGs has ever been worse than the entire launch of Earthrise, and that's the NGE in SWG..

Sometimes i feel bad for Masthead, i mean, they were so much hoping that this would break the curse of the Sandbox fever a while back ago only they never saw this coming, they even predicted 50,000 players for the game, which probably not even past 2k now i hope they make the Fallout to be one very good one Fallout is a very good and famous title, i hope MSH doesn't turn it into another Earthrise, i guess that now 90% of their attention is for Fallout, because i cannot see any income for them from Earthrise as each day, more people are leaving the game
oh well tough luck MHS, good luck with FO Online So What Now? |

What I don't understand is if they had a patch the messed stuff up so bad, then why let the servers stay up and rolling. To ME you would have shut them down as soon as you found the problem instead of waiting several days to fix it. Oh well talk about total mismanagement. |

im shocked there arent more responses to the thread to be honest. Im also shocked theyre charging people for this game monthly. When the community manager makes the following statement: "The whole problem is due to the autostacking option, which was not tested thoroughly and we rushed its release on Friday" you gotta tell yourself these guys really do not value their subscribers at all. These are the types of decisions you expect to see during testing phases. At the very least Id expect to see this sort of behavior on a test live server. its really inexcusable and even more unprofessional. I followed this game for quite a while while it was being developed. Once it was rumored that testing was underway and how close kept it was and how few testers they had, I pretty much stopped paying attention to it because it pretty much spelled it out to me. I came here today to see how well it was being recieved and found this thread, and needless to say I wont be looking into it any further. ![]() |

I would think players would be happy if they rolled it back to beta and we all forgot the last 2 months ever happened. |
