I was sad to see it seems there won't be more penalties for criminals. It seems to be doomed to the fate of DF as a gankfest. Otherwise fairly vague answers about things, but worth a look.

Was a pretty good interview IMO, they were completely honest, even about the games reception and their future intentions. Reflects exactly how they are on the official forums. I'm looking forward to Territory Wars in a couple months, they've said they won't be implementing TW until the performance is fixed up, which is what the player base wants. It would be disastrous to implement TW without fluid performance. 

TW starts next month.  I doubt we will have fluid performance by then.

They've made pretty good performance gains in the last couple weeks, they can delay TW if they have to.
