I decided to give Earthrise another go.   This was after a horrible few days after buying it.     I left.  I hoped a patch would come out quickly to resolve all the technical issues because I really wanted to play this puppy.  At that time the game was not playable.  The lag is the worse I've seen in an MMO I have ever tried.   

Patch applied.  Gave the devs and team the benefit of the doubt, and went back.  Nothing has changed.  Lag is still there.  Bugs are still there.  No fun is still there.  Left the game again.  So frustrating.

Now I read a post that said, "hey, give them some time, they'll fix the issues."   I have a big problem with this simply because, "I PAID FOR THE GAME!!"   When I pay for a product, is it too much to expect it to work correctly???  I don't mean work good, or great, or even better then other games, I mean work at all.   Walk a few feet, pause, lag, walk again, pause lag.  I'ts intolerable.  Type in chat, wait, oh there is what I typed, lag.

So I try a global plea for help, I say, "can someone tell me what the best graphic settings in this game are to reduce lag, please?"  I get two replies.

1.  Why don't you buy a better computer.

2.  Turn shadowing off.  Turn 3d rendering off.  Turn everything off!!!

Ok, so ignore answer number 1 because my pc is a high end gaming computer and try #2.  After turning everything off, the game looked like my son's drawing with a crayon.   No joke.  Horrible and bland.

So now I'm left with playing a game with horrible graphics and it didn't even solve the lag problem anyway.

Is it me?  Am I missing something here?   :(     Games are my hobby, I love playing them and have no problem paying for them, when they WORK!!!   Has anyone been able to play the game with no lag or other technical issues....I haven't even mentioned the incredibly long logon time it takes to load this game.  Sheesh....

left after a few days and came back now and then to see that nothing changed. But I already gave up, too much negativ feeling to have fun with this game. I think thats just the experiance of most people. There are just some who like the game.

There is just nothing you can do. Just keep moving to a better mmorpg and tell stories about earthrise release in the future.

Same thing here too, I cant play the game even with a high end computer. I don't know how anyone can enjoy this game so much.
