You're absolutely right.  Let's all start bashing an unreleased game.  After all, we know everything about it, right?  I mean it's not like they more information about it that hasn't been released.  Every game with a cooldown is just a WoW clone, isn't it?  Man I'm glad someone had the good will to inform the rest of us about why this game is such pure and utter garbage.  Some of us may have made the mistake of giving it a fair judgment based off our own experiences in the game.

I don't actually plan to play the game, it's not my style, but I don't think it will be anything like WoW.  By the way, WoW has guns...  Seems like this is another "Darkfall Earthrise is WoW with guns!!!!!" trolling attempt.

I think it's gonna suck but I don't think it's "WoW with guns."  The wow comparison is retarded with the way it gets flung around these forums so much.  This game looked terrible on any videos i've seen but it sure as hell looks nothing like wow.  Just not my cup of tea i suppose. 

God forbid they actually try to emphasize the RPG in MMORPG.

I figure it's because there still isn't a legitimately good reason for a smart one to start arguing since it's still so early in development. And in that case I'll probably join them since I'm a cynical bastard myself.

But I got to say...

They most come from the DF forums, I mean they're all {mod edit} there and since this game is also a sandbox fully loot type game, they figure they'll be approaching a demographic {mod edit}

Well I am not really following the game so I don't even know exactly how they got this cool down information.

However, yes that's the pretty obvious concept.   Altho not having any relative information about what exactly they are talking about who knows...

This site in general lately seems to be one big bridge...  We used to wait until a game was in beta, live or changed in a radical manner to crap on it.  Now we start trolling them before anyone has actually seen them...

Actually, now that you mention it, I've enjoyed playing few games that didn't have Dev leads who spoke clear English.

Perhaps ROM is the first, but I've got no idea if the leads there do.

But most other games I have to say, the Dev leads communicated clearly in English somehow, even games like Lineage 2.

Yea some reason everyone feels every game out there is a WOW rip off.. Uhmm.. Everquest was out before WoW? Everquest had classes? WoW had 0 rogues in their storyline and they admit to adding them just because other MMORPGs have them.

Oh look FFXI was out before WoW and ah yes had classes, guns, magic!

Oh yea EQ had horses before WoW. EQ had a better faction system then WoW and EQ also have PVP faction based.. Light vs Dark? (Alliance vs Horde).

So who is ripping who off? I mean if you want to get your panties in a rut about how a game is like WoW how bout you look at the other games before WoW. Death Knight was in EQ, Druids, Rangers, Warriors, Rogues, Priest, Mages. GNOMES, Trolls, Human, Orcs.. uhmm the list never ends! yet some how everything is a WoW spin off..

This game is more of a UO Spin off with 3d graphics. Its free play do what you want how you want.

Also the comment about the director barely speaking english. I have personality found that as a downside of games. Meaning they are translating them game from another language to english making the words in it more of a hastle to understand. Additionally the game will be more based across seas then America so we get the last of the patchs and unless they split the servers between international and USA your going to deal with people more gold farmers. also will have to deal with rude players who don't speak english and will hate you cause you do. Then again that is a two way street..

There are 2 styles of MMO UO/AC type or the EQ type. AC2 is an EQ type, WoW is pretty much AC2 and therefore also an EQ type. I don't know anything about earthrise - and I would never call something a ripoff of WoW considering WoW is made of pure ripoff, that would be stupid of me. At the same time it can be WoW-esque like the majorirty of MMOs are these days and at the end it would just be another evolved form of EQ/AC2.

it's garbage because it's basicly the same like tabula rasa. same simple and boring gameplay, same ugly animations. nope thanks!
