I don't understand all the praise this game gets. Click and move right off the bat makes this a NO NO game for me. Second, the anime style is childish and annoying and early 90s. Another FTP game that shows why FTPs suck overall.

This game is surprisingly good. It has tons of little features and you're really free to just go out and do what you want without being tied down to some kind of quest line. Want to battle monsters? Go ahead! Dungeons your thing? Enjoy the dungeon generator. Want to just wonder around, make a campfire, and play music with some buddies? That works too. It's a bit graphically dated, but the anime style keeps it from looking bad as it's fairly simplistic to begin with. The animations however are top notch which really takes your mind off the textures. Some really unique things here if you don't mind the cutesy/innocent style. The only bad thing I really have to say about it is that it can get a little laggy every once and a while (not rubberbanding laggy but non-responsive laggy. IE: Skills not firing off or things not spawning right away in dungeons).

This game is probably one of the best (released) free MMO's out there, right now. It is visually pleasing, the music is very catchy - you can also make you own- combat is fun and simplistic. There are just so many things to do in this game its crazy. This one should be at least one of those check-out mmo's for sure!

Mabinogi isn't your typical grindfest. Mabinogi's combat is one of skill and timing, but Mabinogi's combat isn't half of the fun. It has an extensive crafting system, allowing you to customize the colors of armors AND weapons, allowing you to personalize your armor so people can better distinguish you or your guild. If you love dungeons, Mabinogi also has much to offer' such as randomly generated dungeons and Roleplaying dungeons for Generation quests (which grant you the ability to transform into a paladin or dark knight later on). One of the unique features of Mabinogi is the aging system, in which your character ages 1 year for every week old he/she is. Along with this, they get special bonuses like increased stats, Ability Points, and You get taller between age 10 and 18. Once you get to a certain age, you have the opportunity to rebirth (Resetting your level and stats but keeping all assigned ability points) meaning that if you think you've made all of the wrong choices for your character that you needn't give up hope! You can reset your character, retaining all of your obtained items and assigned ability points, starting out at one of the starting ages (10-18). There is also monthly if not weekly events. To sum this review up, I'd gladly pay to play this game if it weren't published in North America by Nexon!

This game is the MMO to play. The combat isn't a click fest, it actually takes skill. Character customization is vast and deep. You get pets, your own house, many crafting skills, the ability to compose your own music, fish, and cast magic. Clothes and armour can be dyed further increasing creatibility. The NPC interaction is amazing. You get key words by talking to NPCs, which you can open your notebook and ask other NPCs about them which gives them life. The graphics are cute and bright, and have a good art style with them, though they aren't as impressive as newer games today. It's constantly being updated, a new continent was added a few weeks ago. It is free to play as well, though it you pay around $10 a month it will make the game 10 times better. I quit FFXI for this game, and I'd choose this game over WoW, AO, and EVE as well.

The community is full of children, the game is heavily reliant on good latency. If you don't live in California you will be handicapped.
Nexon has quite possibly the worst customer service of any MMO company.
However the game itself is very fun, cute and addictive. The graphics could be a little better. There is some really nice music in it as well.
