Raikul writes: This game is the MMO to play. The combat isn't a click fest, it actually takes skill. Character customization is vast and deep. You get pets, your own house, many crafting skills, the ability to compose your own music, fish, and cast magic. Clothes and armour can be dyed further increasing creatibility. The NPC interaction is amazing. You get key words by talking to NPCs, which you can open your notebook and ask other NPCs about them which gives them life. The graphics are cute and bright, and have a good art style with them, though they aren't as impressive as newer games today. It's constantly being updated, a new continent was added a few weeks ago. It is free to play as well, though it you pay around $10 a month it will make the game 10 times better. I quit FFXI for this game, and I'd choose this game over WoW, AO, and EVE as well. Aemi writes: The community is full of children, the game is heavily reliant on good latency. If you don't live in California you will be handicapped. Nexon has quite possibly the worst customer service of any MMO company. However the game itself is very fun, cute and addictive. The graphics could be a little better. There is some really nice music in it as well. Fri Oct 23 2009 11:41AM

little_faz writes: An enjoyable game, it is free (with cash shop) so I would recommend trying it out. I loved the music. Wed Sep 02 2009 8:14PM
ShunWolfkin writes: The game possesses a solid feel, excellent sound, and over all seems fairly well done. However, outside of the initial look the game is a bit of a letdown as far as I am concerned. I did not see much in the way of customer support, the community was a bit meh(though I have seen significantly worse). The real let down though was in the role-play and fun categories. I expected the game to be entertaining... and in the end I left frustrated(if it was just meh it wouldn't have been that bad... but a game shouldn't frustrate you when you go to it for fun). Overall I have played significantly worse games; however, it just proved somewhat frustrating in the end. Which is a large disappointment from a game that looked so promising. Sun May 10 2009 6:15AM
jpomatto writes: Really fun to play. This is not a grinder like most of them, there is a lot to do quest and skills are a big part of this game. It is kind of like the system in RS where the more you do something the better you get at it. Graphics are unique and the music is well done. There is a decent community and I found a lot of folks willing to help. There are lots of gold farmer advertising in the game but it is not hard to make gold so far and they are easy to ignore for me. There is crafting and gathering and you can even make music and have a house I believe but have not seen this yet. Not bad for free if you are a casual player but the cash shop will allow anyone that wants to drop a lot of cash into the game do so. Beware of this if you have poor control of RL money. To play the full game it takes about $15 a month and unless you want to run out of AP (i.e. the chance to level up) plan on rebirthing every so often at about $10 a pop and if you want a mount or pet hope you have a paypal account with cash in it lol. There are also some things in the game that require you to spend money if you want to be able to advance but I have not played long enough to hit this wall yet. For the moment I am having a lot of fun. Sun Jan 11 2009 6:10PM
Grisaline writes: Well, Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to try out Mabinogi since I'm not living in North America, but instead in Europe. However, I wanted to give this piece of information: I've contacted their customer Service twice. The first time was to ask what that darn message meant. The second time was to ask if the game would come to Europe. Apparently they close you off of asking questions once they find out you don't live in their Service Area! The second Ticket I logged was closed without having my questions answered. And when I entered a ticket about that fact, I noticed that the third ticket was automatically closed. VERY VERY VERY BAD!!! I think this is not a way to behave for a customer service. I'll have to think very, very, very careful before considering playing this game if and when it comes available in Europe. With a customer Service like that........ Fri Nov 28 2008 11:04AM
xfrozenx writes: I will say this, I've never been into an anime game until now. Wow.... I'm 21 and have been playing with my brother who is 24 btw, Mabinogi for the past 3 days. Well, I've only played 6 hours so far. Been incredibly bored in those hours aside from work so decided to try something new, must say I'M AMAZED. If you're looking for graphics, don't look here. You'll find cartoon graphics that are drawn out feel here. It's a really nice and unique system they have, graphics wise and gameplay. So much to do. Player housing, Marriage system, FISHING (LOVE FISHING), dungeons for questing, campfire, music (create your own music as well to play), just all kinds of things. They even have school, haha. It's like a real life mmorpg where you fight, pretty freaking neat and awesome. Give it a try, they have everything. Def. a great role playing game and I've never been into role playing...have always been a ppv junkie myself...but this game is opening up my eyes. Fri Nov 07 2008 11:03PM
Vexe writes: This game is just incredible. I honestly was blown away by this game and the sheer vastness of what it's suggesting. Do what you want. Live a life. This is so utterly new to me that I really can't stop being excited about this game. It's like a single player RPG where you run every aspect of their lives, except it's in a multiplayer setting! I love this game. High marks from me. Fri Oct 17 2008 8:11AM
Wart writes: Mabinogi has a little bit of everything and packages it very well. Great battle system and character customization, Crafting is great. Music composition system... etc. It's my favorite "free (meh) to play" game. However, if you really want full enjoyment of this game and it's features you're probably going to have to shell out upwards to 30 bucks a month!!! Maybe even a little bit more!! I'll be deleting this game since I keep being suckered in by the costs. lol Fri Sep 19 2008 4:39AM
