Nexon has announced that a recent update deployed to Mabinogi live servers has added a new "Farmland" feature to the game. With the introduction of Farmland, players can now rent their own plot of land for a week at a time and grow their own crops, which are said to be a great source of income. With rewards being touted as "great" and plots of land being limited, it's easy to see how this would make sense.

In addition to the new Farmland feature, three new Shadow Missions and two new Alchemy skills (Flame Burst and Sand Burst) have been added to the game.
