Become the Merchant of Venice (CA)
Nexon is sponsoring a new contest for players to become the Merchant of Venice (CA). Mabinogi players will want to log in and get to level 9 in the new Merchant of Venice content in order to be eligible to win.

Shakespeare Series to Continue
Mabinogi players will be able to continue their Shakespearean studies with the Merchant of Venice when it arrives in game. The Merchant of Venice is the third in a series of Shakespearean content preceded by Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet.

Romeo & Juliet Content On Its Way!
The team over at Mabinogi have moved on from the Bard's greatest tragedy in Hamlet to bring forth their newest Shakespearean content update with the Star-Crossed Lovers' Tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. Forsooth! Hamlet Arrives
Beginning today, Thursday, January 20th, Mabinogi players will be able to not only watch but will be able to participate in the classic Shakespearean tale, Hamlet. In addition to opening up a new storyline mirroring the events of the famous tragedy, today's update also introduces a Theatre missions, the Destiny class system, all new skills and more.

Adding Shakespearean Content
Nexon and Mabinogi developers have announced that Shakespearean content called "Theater Missions" will be added to the game over the next several months. Later this month, players will be able to quest and adventure in Denmark as Hamlet will be added to the game.

Holiday Festivities Arrive
Nexon has announced that Mabinogi servers have been updated with lots of holiday festivities. Players will be able to participate in a host of activities from tree decorating, to building snowmen, to sending Christmas lists to GMs. The team has also announced that several holiday-specific items have been added to the item mall.

Raising Money for Starlight Children's Foundation
Nexon and Mabinogi devs have announced a charitable item has been placed into the game. The 'Starlight Scepter' is now available and 50% of the proceeds from the sale of these scepters will be sent directly to the Starlight Children's Foundation. The Starlight Scepter will remain for sale for the next year. In addition, 100% of proceeds from the sale of the Mabinogi soundtrack on iTunes will be donated to the Starlight Children's Foundation.

Return of the Hero Deployed
Mabinogi players have brand new content in which to play with the deployment of the Return of the Hero update. The content allows players to explore the Twelfth Generation, along with a host of new challenges, in the World of Gods. Additionally, a new family adoption system has been introduced and Halloween activities have been included.

European Servers Go to Uncharted Lands
Mabinogi's European community will be treated to a new update called Uncharted Lands. The update is slated to add new zones, races, lands, storylines and more. Devs are saying that the update adds content from Generation 4 to Generation 11 with a single update.

New Update Adds Griffon Mount
The latest content update has deployed on all Mabinogi servers. Called "Sword of the Gods", the update includes new abilities, three new skills, a kitchen dungeon system and an achievement system that allows Alchemists to be inducted into the Royal Alchemist society. A Griffon mount has also been added. The griffon can be used for aerial combat.

Recent Update Adds Farmland Feature
Nexon has announced that a recent update deployed to Mabinogi live servers has added a new "Farmland" feature to the game. With the introduction of Farmland, players can now rent their own plot of land for a week at a time and grow their own crops, which are said to be a great source of income. With rewards being touted as "great" and plots of land being limited, it's easy to see how this would make sense.

Second Anniversary Event Announced
Nexon has announced the "Jump to the Moon" second anniversary event in order to celebrate the game's second anniversary in North America. There will be some server-specific surprises to be had and Nexon isn't sharing any details in that regard (after all, it wouldn't be a surprise then, would it?!) Players can get to the moon of Eweca by enlisting the help of a "special friend," and those who make it to Eweca will find that it is full of giant moon bunnies, tiny cows and even a dancing panda.

Alchemist Update Released; New Trailer!
Nexon has just released "Alchemist," which is the latest update to Nexon's free-to-play MMORPG, Mabinogi. In Alchemist, players will be able to learn a bevy of new Alchemy skills through the progression of a newly introduced storyline.

New Zone in Upcoming Update
Yesterday, we reported on a new set of Alchemy skills coming to Nexon's Mabinogi in an upcoming update. Today, we have some details and screenshots on a new zone that will be introduced to the game with the same update. The new zone is called Taillteann Town, and it will allow players to set up personal shops to sell their items as well as socialize with each other.

Alchemy Update Preview
Nexon has announced that they will be adding an additional five new Alchemy skills to the game in addition to the currently available Magic Combat and Life Skills skillsets. The new abilities include: HP Drain, Wind Blast, Water Cannon, Barrier Spikes, and Summon Golem. Alchemists can also use their skills to temporarily charge crystals for other non-Alchemist players to use.

"Dragon" Update Live! Adds Flying Brooms
The "Dragon" update to Mabinogi is now live! As one would expect, the "Dragon" update adds dragons to the game, several varieties in fact, and players will be put to the task to combat them using newly introduced hot-air balloons with mounted machine guns.

Dragon Update Announced, New Trailer
The developers at devCAT are hard at work on their next update to Mabinogi entitled, "Dragon". The new update was revealed in an announcement made by the game's publisher Nexon. The update will be focused on a war between differing dragon factions within a new zone called "Zardine".
