I really don't understand why free to plays have so such lag going on, anything I do the game just lags terribly. It's a shame really because it looks like a really nice freebie game, plus I love furries, they are the most awesome things in the world to me. ^_^

Raccoons are my favourite animals and I was so happy to play one. Might as well not bother with free to plays now, Runes of Magic was laggy like this too so I guess I'm stuck with the pay to plays. =p

There's no correlation with games being f2p and being laggy.  In fact, if you're having consistent problems, it may be on your end.  That being said, there are known performance issues in Earth Eternal, including a pretty wicked memory leak.
