Browser based 3d free MMO in open beta, PRETTY COOL :D

its a bit toon styled with animals, but the gameplay i have thusfar expirienced is pretty cool for a free game,

just try it, its free and will only take a couple of minutes to register ^^!

I tried the game and honestly the only reason I didn't jump on the forums and rip this game apart is that it seems to cater to children.

It's an absolute horror to play, bad graphics, stiff animations, dull classes, Horrible UI, really other than it being semi browser based I have nothing good to say on the game.

Unless your a child or are a parent that likes to play games with your child stay clear of this game.

Why would I play a pathetic themepark MMO when I could enjoy a masterpiece like Mass Effect, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Dragon Age?

I wouldn't say it's horrible, but I think it needs a ton of polish before it's truly ready for release.  If it released today in it's present state, I'd rate it pretty poorly.  That being said, I think it shows promise, but we've yet to see groves (player housing), real crafting or pvp.  So, as it stands today, the game doesn't offer all that much.  As a fan of games in general, I'm rooting for the devs and hope they can deliver a quality product, but we'll have to wait and see.  I'm a little concerned, however, that the game is in "open beta", which is generally  not too different than the state in which games launch (potentially one major patch).  Frankly, the game feels like it should be in closed beta still.

Regarding the comments "Unless your a child or are a parent that likes to play games with your child stay clear of this game.", I don't necessarily agree.  The theme of the game (anthropomorphic animals) is appealing to children, but the overall design isn't for a children's game.  There's a chat filter, but it's easy to circumvent.  The quests are for "kill" not "capture", zone chat can tend to range from teen-to-adult conversation, etc...

Honestly, I'm trying to figure out who this game is for.  It seems like Sparkplay should go full on with a children's title a la Wizard101 or FusionFall or skip the cuteness, keep the anthropomorphic theme, but make the game darker, tougher and more adult.  As it stands today, it's somewhere in the middle and I think that's going to be a problem in terms of target player demographics and their overall chances at success.
