Karahandras writes: Not really a horror mmorpg, more your standard wow clone/grinder with a resident evil skin dropped over the mobs, but because it's the standard generic it mixes some scooby doo in there aswell. Character models are your basic human, orc, dark elf, elf style too and the quests seem also the standard go there kill x of them/deliver this love letter etc. Is a good looking mmo though. Also can't say that I ever managed to play without getting a disconnect at some point. I forgot to add all those mounts and pets u'll see if u try the game are available for hire through the cash shop at x amount of real money per month Sun Jan 23 2011 11:33AM
rev_lazaro writes: The game has its faults, but as many have said it's the one F2P I keep coming back to, and every time I do it impresses me more. One thing I'd like to add is that the forums for the game is a totally different atmosphere than the community you find in-game. Sat May 15 2010 11:24AM
Svuupp writes: to all those who said this game copied another... are you really THAT die hard fan, so you don't want another company to succed in an even better game? 0.o everytime i see a wow clone i wish them luck trying to copy a polished game. no need to flame just because a game copys another... result may be good ;) Wed Mar 10 2010 1:15PM
f0bia writes: The best free MMO out there. I've played more than half the games listed here and I keep coming back to Requiem. Contrary to what others have posted, this game is very solo friendly. There are two severs that are PK free, but allow you to group pvp if you wish. The graphics maxed out run fine on midranged computers and the game plays smooth as glass with zero lag. There are options to subscribe that allow better exp and drop rates. Global chat can only be done by members so no gold farmers or 14 year old kids clogging up chat. There isn't any crafting in Requiem, but the item upgrade system is fun and easily replaces the need to build things. The latest patch has added lots of new content including "beast posessions" which allow you to turn into a huge monster for a few minutes of carnage. Totally fun game, totally free. Knightcry writes: Little to no end game. The company does not support the game well. Class imbalance. Fun gore hype dies quick. Thu Jan 07 2010 6:22PM
Silacoid writes: This game is just randomly placed mobs in no sort of real planning it seems. Also the respawn time is so fast it is almost impossible to solo to a destination if you don't pump out DPS. Just very simple and plain. Whoever pays for the subscription is special. Thu Oct 01 2009 9:59AM
adoniskev writes: My rating is based on the sole fact that much of the ratings here are based on a few players trolling the rating boards thus my rating should somewhat balance that out. However the true rating for this game is 7.0 in my honest opinion. If they could just fix the simple things this game would be phenomenal. Thu Oct 01 2009 12:49AM
ruud666 writes: i goes for the worst since i mostly rate for 8 up. the community need to be looked after all, the main story need to be growth the community as well as the PvP. and the the graphics is the best since i looked at the effect, but the map need to be looked after too. LodenDSG writes: I typicaly dont like F2P games, they always seem bit less than what I like. This particular game however is a lot of fun for arguments sake its not completly free they do have P2P options which incress exp gain, decreas exp lose on death and incress item drops. All in all I would recomend this game to just about any one. It may never be your main MMO but its free, its fun and if you like it you can go all out with it. Wed Sep 16 2009 12:13AM
silenos writes: PROS: sexy characters =P nice graphics and interface, lots of armor / weapon drops (and they look cool!), large areas to explore, bloody and dark =) CONS: lack of players, relatively hard to level, controls (i often get stuck on the ground and can't move, turn around in battle, press attack 5 times and still not attacking, etc).
