NOTE: This promotion is only available to MMORPG.com members that are over the age of 17 and reside in North America.

Nice of you guys to mention that the Beta code is restricted to N.-America.
Especially since the official Requiem-site doesn't even mention this.....
its not for America only, Im from europe and alot of people I met inside the game is from europe too.
btw. CB started the 26, mmorpg is late, as always
fileplanet members got an early start, and yeah its international im from the UK and been playing the last few days lots of people from all over europe and america are playing.
I am sorry but we had strict instructions from Gravity to only give keys to N.A residents over the age of 17.
Sweet, thanks. I wonder how fast these keys are going to go.
Technically it's only out in NA, but those who get their hands on keys can play from anywhere, like all of Gravity's games. And considering how incompetent they are at releasing their games in Europe, it would be absolute madness to wait for a European version.
Am looking forward to trying this game out. Luckily since we're getting the keys Fri, I have the weekend :)
I already verified with requiem, they did NOT decide to restrict the CB to any country, this restriction is ENTIRELY from MMORPG.com
I have an email from Requiem support to prove it, and I quote it here:

Thank you for your inquiry,
Gravity Interactive Inc. is not restricting the closed beta of Requiem:Bloodymare currently at this time. Currently we are using no IP blocks or any other methods to create such a restriction. In fact, users from all over the world have registered with closed beta keys from Fileplanet. We do not have control of other companies and websites. We apologize if you are having an issue obtaining a beta key.
If you have any other questions or problems please feel free to submit another ticket and our customer service staff will be happy to assist you..

Whilst I'm not a huge fan of the staff here at MMORPG.com, I don't see what they would have to gain by limiting the keys to a certain demographic. More like the person at Gravity who set this up has some European sites doing it in the coming weeks too, and decided to keep them happy by not letting MMORPG.com give out all the keys to Europe.
The replies I had from requiem explicitely precludes this explanation. Even by your explanation, it would still be a choice made by MMORPG.com
That should pretty much sum it up. Why would we not make this available to everyone we could? The tinfoil hat stuff never seems to improve around here
Downloading this game now....Looks pretty coolm can't wait to play =]
this should get the troll's attention. MMORPG.com's staff aint bad, but their mods on the other hand .....
hate to hi-jack but I can not seem to start a new thread? What are the system requirements for Requiem: Bloodymare? I can not seem to find it anywhere?nvm found it in process of download
*adjusts tightly fitting metal hat for maximum effectiveness
Pffft.......what do you take us for.

LMFAO!
he it is.. 12:01 AM ONE MINUTE AFTER FEB 29 IS OVER AND THEY WONT GIVE ME A KEY!!!
SAYS THERE ARE 317 LEFT BUT THE PROMOTION HAS ENDED...
It was only valid for that day.. the day is gone, they likely lose all remaining keys. Maybe you should have gotten on a minute sooner? Sry man, thems the breaks sometimes.
Or maybe they should have extended it so they can give the rest of the keys away. If Gravity wants this grind-fest to do anything but fizzle when its released, they need to do a better job than that... First impressions are everything.
Anyone have an extra key? I missed my chance :(
Only day i choose to stay at a hotel with no internet...
(I would have seen it in my email)
This really sucks.
This is just another f2p POJ. Can't believe they actually believe anyone is going to play this game, it looks and plays like all the others and offers nothing different.
My guess is a bunch of these f2p games are going to tank this year, just far too many of them on the market and players rarely play them more than a month.
