"pain is weakness leaving the body"

Hi all,

I've been checking this game out for a few. I am very, very bored with wow and sorta inbetween mmos right now, waiting on AION.  A few questions I hope can be answered, as this game seems like a great FTP mmo.

Is there crafting in this game or something akin to it?

How large is the game world?

Is gear stat orientated or something akin to that?

Is there an auction house and trade?

Are there capital cities aka hubs?

Are there mounts?

And what is the end game like?

Thanks for taking a look at this

  • No
  • It depends on what you think is big.  The game is split up into zones, the zones are pretty big in size.
  • Gear is stat oriented.  Understanding the stats and their impact though...  At level 30 the stats make a difference, at level 60 that make no difference.  The things you really look for is HP, Damage, Crits, level, and skills.  All of which make a much bigger impact then the single stat bonuses.
  • Yes
  • No, maybe Nova Lux.  It is the biggest town and often draws even high levels back to it even though its mid-level area.
  • Yes
  • End-game is mostly geared towards PVP battlegrounds.  There are 2 battlegrounds akin to WoW type battlegrounds, and 1 massive 1000vs1000, server vs server battleground that is available 6 times a week.  The best equipment is also obtained from battlegrounds or end-game raiding.
