In this game do you have to add points to stats? 
I.E.  Str, int, dex

 

No but you do get an alloted amount of Skill points by leveling, so you really need to consider which skills to skip, which ones to only purchase so many levels of, etc.

Good example:

Rogues get Shadowrunning early on, but they also get Stealth at 30. Most builds recommend just skipping Shadowrunning entirely to wait for the much better Stealth skill. I'm personally going that route, and quite happy having increased crit and attack speed buffs.

Yep, like he said you dont have to worry about handling stats. That way you can put your man focus on skills and DNA tuning.
