Good to know that G4 says this game is pretty decent. Im very interested in this game. I mean, videogames that revolve around horror and the macabre are definately first on my list of games to play. Im a huge horror film fan so the screenshots and videos for this really make me want to download it. It kind of looks like something right out of the mind of Clive Barker. I still think that there should totally be a "Return of the Living Dead" mmo/action rpg... Tar Man boss fights?! C'mon! That would f-in' rock! Basically i just want to know if Requiem is worth the download. An experienced players' opinion would be best. Definately no offense to newer players! Also, what other GOOD horror based games are out that are f2p or even subscription based? ~i'd rather be forgotten than remembered for giving in~ |

A lot of people in game during Beta were very suprised by the game, a lot like the crafting or weapon altering. A lot of people loved the dungeons as well, I only seen one of them myself but I play at very weird hours so I just explore and tear shit up. Some of the stuff is kinda funny, for instance when your hacking away the blood is splattering, you slam the killing blow and bits of enemy go here and there and the biggest part flops around for a bit...a nice change compared to other games where they just fall over. I dont think I really have anything bad I could say about the game, performance was very good, lots to explore and suprisingly has a good amount of things to do in game. Awesome, thanks for the info, man. i guess the only thing left to do now is download the game! Depending on the time it takes i might do it now or tonight after work. Ok, i made an account and im about to download the client. before i do this i just want to make sure that all i hve to do is click on the link provided on the site and download the full version. its a zipped file and its roughly 2 gigs big. im just making sure this is the correct path to take. my specs are all good and im ready to go... ~i'd rather be forgotten than remembered for giving in~ |

Yes, when you click the client download you will have a few options of where to download it from and even a bit torrent. Once you have the zip file just unzip it and install and you will be ready to go.
EDIT: If you like once you have the game set up let me know in a PM what server you are on and your character name. I was going to make a new character anyway and this way if we are on at the same time we can run some quests together, up to you. been playing requiem for about a week now, and watching this review, it feels like they left out ALOT of things about requiem. it kinda feels like they only played it for like 30 mins then made a full review about it. the vid IS shorter than their average reviews. i mean they left out: the possession beast subject, the battlefield, and they didnt even show any of the nightmare mobs! and the info is wrong too, they said that nightmares come out from 11pm to 2am, but they didnt mention that thats the in game time. a full day in requiem is 2 hours in real life, and nightmares come out every 2 hours as well. whatever, i just feel like they didnt do it thoroughly. |
