I downloaded the ZIP file, but it doesn't let me extract the files inside of it. It says that it is either a multipart or corrupted. Anyone know whats going on?

It's probably corrupt or it didn't get the whole file. Try redownloading it.

This probably belongs in the MMORPG forums designated for Requiem. That aside, there are a few issues with this client currently.

The best advice I can give you is to download the Gamershell version of this client (and verify that it is 1.1 not 1.0). When you are done downloading it then unzip it with your DEFAULT UNZIPPER (NOT Winzip). For some reason the client does not like Winzip.

Even after that, you may experience blue screens if you run Vista -- and this is due to administration permissions. Try my first tips, if you do experience the weird blue screens, let me know.

Ps. I would love to play this game, especially after three hours of trying to get it to update, unfortunately I keep getting some weird issue where the game closes out a few minutes after actively playing. It's worse that it gives me no error for it.

If you don't want to download the whole program again and can run Bit Torrent, download the torrent file from Requiem's site.  If needed, rename your corrupt installation package to RequiemClient_20080613.zip and move it into your torrents download folder. Have BT use the torrent file you downloaded from Requiem's site. BT will begin by verifying the file to see which parts are missing or corrupt.  It will then retrieve only those parts.

well been trying to download and unzip this for almost a week now...just is not worth it anymore...

if they can solve these issues to let potential clients play i wonder what the game is like now or if anything has been even fixed since open beta..

tried bit torrent which gave me corrupt files..and gamershell.com  both give me the same thing unable to unzip folders...now my desktop is going into active recovery of desktop mode when i shut down these unresponsive programs with the task manager...

i like it when it was open beta but just too much of a hassle to gt in now..i can download other games without any problems seems this is the only one..even ran the download through firefox as suggested by gamershell.
