Because the game was rushed, it still feels like a beta. There remains a lot to be done. I suggest reading Requiem's forum if you want to know more. While the current version has some long-awaited additions such as mounts, there are negative additions as well: the nerfing of Defenders (which no longer heal in combat) and a semi-functional change to how the first job is obtained.

For what its worth. When I say open beta announced I decided to have a look, after reading the forums and the screen shots. I decided to pass this game up. Since I was bored this weekend, I downloaded it friday night and started playing.... In all honesty I am enjoying this game more and more. Its alot of fun, it take some skill to play and build your charater. I have a lvl 20 rogue right now, I love how Mobs die. I am surprised with how much fun I am currently having. I did not expect this game to be any good, maybe something to waste time with but I am playing this more then Vanguard atm. Vanguard being my main MMO. |

For a F2P MMO I think it is a damn good game compared to other free MMO out there. I played the Beta and I just re-downloaded the game last night. For me its a good getaway from whatever P2P game I am playing.
As of right now though I am really thinking of just playing this until some of the other games are released as I have been having a lot of fun with it and being free is a bonus. This of course is my opinion, but being a free game I would say download it and try it out, it may just suprise you. |
