Level 40 was the maximum level one could achieve in Closed Beta. It has changed over time, and on March 5th, was raised to 60. The information comes from the sticky FAQ on the general board of the official Requiem forum. www.playrequiem.com/forum/forums/thread-view.asp -Terrapin |

Originally posted by SeroRamai I'm not saying the OP has any validity...but your statement is way off base. A port means that the game has already been through testing phases and released in another country. The engine, the code, and basically everything that makes the game tick is already in place and not going to be changed. The only real thing that happens during a port is some translation, and a movement of the code from servers overseas to servers over here. His point was that this isn't a real beta. This isn't a new game, they aren't developing the code in this phase. The game is already done, and being marketed. All this is doing is stress testing the NEW servers that the game is being ported to, in an effort to make sure that the host of the game over here has hardware which can handle the potential load. Again, they aren't making code changes. They aren't bug testing or bug fixing really. When a game is being ported, and does an open beta, its for server stress purposes only. |

right now, call of duty4, nothing is out worth playing right now. Will play rohan once it comes out probably with my guild. But besides that there is no foreseeable game coming out that is worth playing and doesnt cater to the casual gamer crowd. I have pretty much given up on MMO's |

I'll try out rohan aswell, tho i don't have any hope on that game, since at least requiem team is working on the game kinda well, seems very promising to me, while rohan (jp version was good) seems to me like the english version will be another "let's exploit the cash shop while the game stills alive" other than working more on the game. Edit to say that the amount of players playing requiem OB amazes me, i never saw an OB getting that good acceptation from players, or maybe i haven't seen that many players in the same area in other games lately, while the lagg was so little (and they were stressing the server), server stability deserves a +10! |

Where did ou get that impression, admaris? I've been in the Rohan forums for a few weeks now, and they seem very concerned about making the game NOT like that. I've played in a dozen mmoz, and I can say that I've never seen such active GMz and Modz as I have in that game. Requiem is OK, but my guild already quit to move over to Rohan. |

Originally posted by charlizd Even a game in CB, you can see the game mechanics. Game mechanics and "vision" doesnt change over the course of closed beta. And from requiems CB..well, it's easy to see it's a Koreangrinder with a "horror" theme... Nothing we've not seen before in terms of game mechanics... New textures thos :p

Well lighting, just a guess not a fact ;) As i said i'll try it out, but i don't think it will better than jp version which i played on, ofc is a good game, but it all depends on how they'll do the shop system, which i've heard that even the best gear will be able to be bought by the Cash shop (dunno if they are rumours or not, it's just what i've read on their forums from random people). About the new "trading system" added a few days ago, i think it'll be something such as the one in zu online, and i don't like that so much of having different classes of money, which MIGHT mean the money earned from monsters will be useless, and these RP (rohan points) will be the trade money, earned only by trading, but again, is just my point of view, it's just a matter of what u like. But ofc i'll try it out, i might be wrong about all that. |
