I install the game, log in and noone will talk to me, out of 10 people next to me at starting area, which had mounts and were obviously higher level and not afk.

I asked some questions and was completely ignored for 10 minutes straight, then I watched as a guy on mount glitched across the screen.

Shortly after I crashed with a error message of ??????????? ????????????????? from cheap coding.

welcom to the world of mmo post WOW. You have not yet earned the respect from the other players before you have gotten past the 60 boring solo levels.

I had the same experiance.  I downloaded the game 3 days ago and no one has responded to a single one of my tells.  I figure I will keep the game loaded till after halloween then it is poof.

Yea, its weird.  Most of the community isn't that socialable.  They hate it when I spam general chat.

You probably aren't going to find a lot of chatters in the starting zone.  The bulk of those players in Kurt or Rondel are bots.  Also a lot are new players and don't know something.  When you make a character, you automatically get a 3-day mount and warp scrolls.

I have to admit that I am guilty of not talking to lowbies below say level 4. Mainly because anyone that low is usually gold spamming if I do respond. Sorry you had a bad experience.

Well I finally got to group with someone and I joined his guild.  Many of them are french so its a little strange to be grouped and have no idea what they are saying.

So far this game reminds me of Old EQ,  There isnt a ton of questing outside the starting zone and have spent alot of time camped in A ruined temple killing Mobs with sepent like heads.  Oh well like I said after halloween (today) this game goes poof from my hardrive.  Its not terrably bad for a free to play its just like eating hot water and trying to convince yourself its soup.
