I've played this an have 4 characters on it.  I got bored and stopped playing after getting my Rogue to level 40.  As for pvp, well there's a magic caster that seems to own all pvp, specifically because it has a spell that hits you with a ball of lighting and stuns you almost every hit.  So yes there's pvp.  Also, if you like pvp where you click tab or point-n-click to lock onto your opponent than perhaps you'll like it... I personally don't like pvp like that, as I prefer "free-lock" or user-manual aiming, such as in Hellgate or Neocron.

I guess the choice is yours.
