silenos writes: while i like the graphics, i'm not fond of the characters. there are only a few faces and hairstyles to choose from :/ the gameplay is fun until lvl20, but after that, there are less quests and too much grinding. the easiest way to unlock hard / ultimate mode is to find good parties / friends / guild who can help you. Frostbite05 writes: Fun game. It is true if you want to own hardcore you need the item shop but its still fun if you don't Sat Jul 25 2009 3:32PM
kattay writes: The game is fun. That's all. The rest is a load of crap: unprofessional staff, thousand of dollars to spend, crap customer support. Definitely a deceiving experience. Tue Apr 28 2009 11:10PM
lalartu writes: Shaiya had a lot of promise and I really got into it for a few days, but as soon as I realized that changing maps only means killing exact same mobs, just higher level, I decided it wasn't worth it. If you do the math, it means you might be killing same monsters at least 12 if not more times through the game (since you have to complete NORMAL mode first and then HARD to unlock the ULTIMATE edition). Which also means that the grind is extreme in this game. I suggest trying something else that's more fun (e.g. Requiem or Runes of Magic which I have been playing lately) Conclusion: stay away. It gets boring way too fast Sat Apr 04 2009 3:28PM
zanget writes: Graphics are decent (same mobs but harder at each level), skills and spells are pretty good but limited. This game has a pretty good pvp if you are willing to spend loads of cash at the shop. You can get to lower levels pvp without too much trouble. Except they have 3 levels normal, hard and ultimate. Each gives more points to spend on skill per level. If you go into pvp as normal mode, at this stage of the gaem, don't expect to do well, most players are hard and above. To get to hard mode you have to grind through normal mode and then start new as hard mode and go through the same quests/mobs etc.. and it's a painful grind (certain shop items help releive the pain). Used to have to get to level 50, but thankfuly it's only level 40 now before you can move from normal to hard. (still a grind, not as bad) Worth the try since it's free, you may like it.
