I have no PPC and PDA, Just an old desktop. if you have one of them, you can subscribe one that contain ppc, pda and ppc client.

They give the free dvd because they'll make money from their "free" game. Perhaps they should make the item shop more publically known, instead of trying to hide it.

Maybe zorvan is right, but if we have a little consideration what is bussiness, no one would be surprised to see the provision of freeDVD.

Maybe it is the truth. But not all the companies will sacrifice the profits that selling DVDs of their games. At this point, I do appreciate Smartcell Techonoly.

Maybe they want more people to play their game by selling DVDs freely.

That would be my guess. The old 'give away the razor, sell the blades' trick.

Every company want to promote their commodities, after all they have invested on their products. certainly the advertisement is inevitable, and the point is how they promote their products. if they choose the right way, more players will believe them and play their game; if not, maybe the gamers will lose trust on the game makers. To some extent I think free DVD is a good way.

It seems that you guys have changed the topic to what kind of tackles should the company take to promote their game. Bodies, subscribe a DVD if you really want to play the game and tell us your feeling.

I agree with notjealous that we are talking about the free DVD and not the advertisment, ok? Free DVD is not a bad idea.

Just got the DVD save all the hassle of downloading and tried to install 

I know most ppl will have no probs installing but i just think sometimes game companies should make it as easy as poss to install so this would maximise there client base
