Objective

This FAQ style guide is to serve players who have not explored into crafting.
It is essential as players can earn gold by providing crafting services
to other players, sell the crafted items and create good equipments for themselves.

What is crafting?
A living skill which a player can learn to create equipment such as Weapon, Armour, Boots, Helmet, Gauntlet, Necklace and Ring.

How many types of living skills?
There are a total of 4 types. 

1) Weapon
2) Armour and Boots (aka Armour crafter)
3) Helmet and Gauntlet (aka Leather crafter)
4) Necklace and Ring (aka Jewel crafter)

How to learn a skill?
Talk to any of the following NPC to learn a living skill and player will be given a hammer to start leveling up their crafting proficiency.

1) Blacksmith – Weapon
2) Tailor – Armour and Boots or Helmet and Gauntlet
3) Jewelcrafter – Necklace and Ring

How many materials are needed?
1) Weapon - 6 pieces
2) Armour - 5 pieces
3) Boots  – 3 pieces
4) Helmet - 5 pieces
5) Gauntlet - 3 pieces
6) Necklace - 4 pieces
7) Ring - 4 pieces

How to level up crafting level?
By crafting items and gaining proficiency points from each crafted item. I’m using a level 16+ wizard to mass kill deer in Phoenix Village to collect material needed to level up my crafting skills to level 5. Do take note that crafting with low level materials will waste more stamina. On the other hand, higher level material will gain higher crafting proficiency.

 
What type of materials are required for the 4 crafting skills?
1) Weapon - Claw, Horn, Tooth
2) Armour and Leather - Tendon, Skin
3) Jewellery - Skull, Tail, Eye

Materials can be collected by slaying monsters.

What type of element of the equipment should I craft?
It is recommended to craft equipment based on your major element.
For example, if your major is Wood, then craft Wood Element equipment
as I think there is a 10% boost on status if player is wearing equipment
of same major element.

To craft your own element equipment:
1) I was told to place your major element material on the 1st slot at 12 o'clock
OR
2) Use the same element for all your material
OR
3) Ensure majority of the materials are the same

How to craft?

Note: Notice the "Pri. Armor"? It is a drop list button whereby player
can choose the class of the armour to be crafted. For instance, if you
are an Armourcrafter, you can craft Armour or Boots for ALL 4 classes.

Can I repair the hammer?
You can repair the hammer (Blacksmith) that is bought from the NPC once its duration
has reached minimum but the hammer which is given by the NPC is unrepairable!

How do I know what level of materials will be dropped by monsters?
Normally, it is the same level as the monster.

My crafting skill is 4, why can't I use a Level 71 material?
A level 4 crafter can use only material below level 40.

How to setup a crafting stall?

Click 'B' for bag > Click Booth

Click Charge Rate to change rate if desire 

Click Begin

Click that button to check sales and names of your customers

Why no one visits my crafting stall?
1) Are you charging too high?
2) NPCs can craft items for players up to level 4, so it is better to setup a
crafting stall when your crafting level is 5 and above.

Any other tips?
1) If your desired equipment level is around 55, you may mix a level 71 material
with level 50+ material to boost the basic defense or attack attribute.

2) Craft more weapons:
a) Major element weapon (use most of the time)
b) Element which restricts my major (use in realm to farm magic points)
c) Weapons that restrict other elements for PK
d) Metal Deflection equipments for TQ (for Priest and Wizard)
