In patch 7205, PDO will embrace with a new exciting feature, the item refining system. It enables players to improve the basic attributes of their items. With this new awesome feature, players can forge formidable weapons and unshakable armor to defeat any strong foes in PVP or monsters outside of cities!

 

 

The following shows the relationship between items and their improved attributes:

• Weapon—Improved Attack Power
• Defense Items—Improved Defense Power
• Ring—Improved Health Points
• Necklace—Improved Magic Points

 

 

Additional Introduction:

The improved range of attributes is only related to the level and the class requirement of the item. The higher the level of the item, the higher the improved attribute that can be refined. If two items are at the same level but their class requirements are different, their improved attributes might differ after refining.

Neither the quality (white, blue or green) nor the types (created items, reputation items, and class limited armors) are related to the improved range of attributes. The refining will only improve such basic attributes of items as Defense Power or Attack Power and it will not affect the current attributes of items.

Once refined, the new attribute is permanent. Each item can be refined up to15 times.

Refined Black Iron is required for refining items.

Players can obtain the Refined Black Iron by killing humanoid monsters or purchase from the Phoenix Point Merchant or the Alchemist.

There are two types of Refined Black Iron. They are: Bad Refined Black Iron (Low success rate of refining) and Normal Refined Black Iron (higher success rate of refining).

The success rate of refining is related to the quality of the Black Iron and the refining level of the item. The higher the refining level of the item, the lower the success rate of refining.
