I am a fairly new player to PS, and mainly decided to play it due to it's claim to be a roleplay game. However, now I came upon this: http://blog.depotwarehouse.net/?p=83. It seems that if you do not play the way the GMs want you to do, you get banned -forever-. Note that hackers, roleplay rapists and the like get a finite ban. I most certainly quit the game right after I learned about this incident, and I advise you to do the same. I want to play like I want to, develop -my- characters, not have them dictated to me by a GM who knows nothing about roleplay. Stay away from this game at all costs.

LOL, what? Did you even read the original post???

He said he's left the game because he doesn't like it's silly rules. So there is no point in what your asking. Do you mean should you kick him out of the guild or not after leaving the game? Then again, pointless. As a guild leader, that's something you shouldn't even have to think about.

If you were in my guild I'd kick you out for making such a usless post and your ridiculous poll. And if I was in your guild, I would leave in a heat beat for the same principles.

You can play a rapist if you want. It sounds like Planeshift is very realistic. In real life, if you get caught raping someone, you go to jail (where hopefully some 400 lb man named Big Bertha castrates you and makes you his little lady). In Planeshift, you get banned. Think of banning as being like jail. So your goal as an online roleplaying rapist is not to get caught.

Maybe things changed after this time but now I se no-rp server in it you can shout spam about anime and your favorite p0rn film and not get into problems.

Jesus! That was one very good reason to stay away from Planeshift. That's definitely not a friendly place. No way I would ever set my feet in a place where I'll be forced to accept OOC consequences for IC reasons. Who ever Aaxithyzle is, he deserves to have his stick broken and shown away in shame.

And Tuxide, you ought to actually read the bloody thread, before you start pointing fingers in the wrong direction.
