Hello Planeshift players

I am really bored of Guild Wars atm after getting high ranked and shit just to realize HA is a joke, and good GVG is dead, etc...but anywho...

I was wondering how large is the population of the game first off (is it dead?)...Also, how is the community, is it supportive of new players or is it just fool of high-level elitists who do not want new players to succeed? Finally, how is the PvP / what makes it unique?
