They use the fighting, the money, the levelling, and the duelling.

Then you've got the players who don't really use the game, but hang out in it and RP.

They don't really fight, they get pissy if you challenge them, and when they do fight they don't use the duel system the developers made.

We don't mix well and tend to keep to our own.  Remember all the fuss about people duelling in the death realm?  One kind of player loved it, but the other kind of player kept talking about how it was OOC and annoying.

So we don't mix well... but we tolerate eachother.

Of course I'm exagerating things...

Remember that for every one person that gets 'super pissy' there's about twenty more that don't really care.  The hardcore RP view is generally the most vocal on the forums, as opposed to everyone else.  there's not much for the idea of kinds, since it's silly to segregate players themselves based on a view.

Looks like it'd be much better if everyone viewed themselves as a player and not as a RPer or a PLer...  Though the exaggeration is present in the PlaneShift forums with the drama queen hardcore Roleplayers that tend to be the most vocal.

There are drama queens on both sides imo.

Yup.  See?  One thing they have in common already.
