Sketch writes: This an early April fools joke? Kind of weak since Champions had dual pistols & the gun kata since conception... Don't get me wrong its a nice addition to CoX, but I was hoping to see something new. Tue Mar 02 2010 5:43PM Report

A lot of the concepts in CO were proposed for CoH long before CO was in development (including the so-called Nemesis System.) Just so you know, the "thugs" mastermind villain archtype has had dual pistols since 2004 - the release of City of Villains. Tue Mar 02 2010 6:52PM Report
bonds0097 writes: Besides, only a few of the Munitions Powers in CO are actually Dual Pistols. The more powerful powers are shotgun/machinegun related which kinda sucks because you can't build a full repertoire of dual pistols (or convincingly explain how your character magicks all of his various weapons into existence constantly). Darkholme writes: Actually if it weren't pretty much just like the gun-kata-esque Munitions power in CO I would have been disappointed... Wed Mar 03 2010 2:53AM Report

skinnys writes: Played around with the powerset on testserver. It's going to be awesome. So long CO, and I hope you're not mad at me for leaving you for awhile CoX. Please take me back. Sat Mar 06 2010 4:45PM Report
Xeroshadow writes: Bah, they can add all the graphics, new zones and powersets they want but if the formulaic missions have not changed there is no reason for me to return. Dual Pistols looks great but it won't help me from getting bored in a week after playing the same missions over and over. They need new mission types or new mechanics that make doing missions interesting again. Sun Mar 07 2010 1:18PM Report
lordessedess writes: Both games are made by the same company and development studio so it is kind of like saying you like one son better than the other by comparing the CoH to Champions. Champions is more like the sequel to CoH but since ive only got a 6year old computer given the choise ill be playing CoH/CoV (at least till i can afford some upgrades:P) ....wait what was my point? I guess that both have lots to offer and that since the same people made them there will probably be alot of commonality. Mon Mar 08 2010 10:30AM Report
Urvan writes: Heh, they actually make duel wielding pistols look cooler in CoX if you ask me, shame Munitions doesn't have it like that. Oh and btw, CoX had the other Munition powers, even the Mastermind had access to things like machine guns and I do recall grenades and smoke bombs too. Tue Mar 09 2010 12:46AM Report
