I don't pay much attention to the details of CoX. I don't keep stats on anything; I don't shoot for those rare purple drops (that apparently don't happen anymore); I do very little inventing. You might say I'm a casual player. Has anyone noticed if power recharge time varies with how long it's been in use? Like Rest - it seems like the recharge time is the same no matter if I'm resting for just a second or if both bars are nearly empty. Would make sense for a shorter Rest to require a shorter recharge time, no? Or my radiation Auras - I know the endurance drain on most of them increases as the number of baddies is affected, but if I lay one on and then my teammates defeat him in quick order, the recharge is the same as if he was the last on in th emob to go down. Am I imagining that, or is it for real?

Most of the toggles have fairly incidental recharge times all things considered, and since recharge time is something they seem to balance the strength of the power on I'd rather them not futz with it. Plus most of the defensive powers out there are toggles as well, I'd hate to see a tanker or brute accidentally de-toggle their shield during a battle then have to wait ages to turn it back on again just because he'd had the power active for hours. Oh, there are only a very few debuff powers that increase the endurance usage for every enemy caught in their AoE, the ones that do are generally the powers that also knockback so there's the debuff, but it's really draining endurance for every enemy the power's knocking around. |
