Complete utter trash is all you are. Intelligence doesn't stem from "bad words".

Profanity is simply our way to let out aggression and it's a psychological factor that does help unwanted actions. You have no idea how the mind works or perhaps any experience outside your video game to experience as such.

Secondly, profanity in video games by children (yes, even these adults are children too) in 99% of cases does not call for it.

A.) It's a video game, you feel like going out in rage in a video game.. then please go outside and do something sublimating.
B.) If you don't have the intelligence and/or grammar to come up with a meaningful sentence without the use of profanity.. you are quite simply under educated and lazy (most of the posters here).

Most others and I lose all respect for one that cannot speak without the use of profanity or some "wannabe gangsta" themes for casual and unwanting situations. However, losing your car keys or wallet, by all means do it.

In this case, these individuals were just ruining the game for others and they got what they deserved. I know I'd run my game the same way.

Also, to the op where do you live? It's completely inappropiate to curse infront of children and if I were that child's guardian you would be hearing something from me immediately.

Yes I agree that profanity does not need to be expressed in a game kids play they hear enough of it every where else

I agree 110% thats why in a 16+ ERSB rated game the parents should be held to account for allowing them into a teenage and adult online environment.

Cant honestly say that its different in any other mmo tbh.

Obviously OP is just venting off some steam for some reason,  you may not like the terms & conditions but thats doesnt mean to say the game itself is bad.

dude you play a game based around comic books but kids shouldn't be allowed to play it? umm ok

but i would BET money on the fact that it was an adult that reported you and not a kid, sounds like a 12 year old woulda been right there with ya on your chat. lil kids would be more tolerant of that kinda talk than a mature adult would. that said if the majority of the group was talking like that, the person with the problem shoulda just left the group and found one with people their age in it.

that said i have gotten a warning in WoW once, it was odd but i got one. was standing at the bank transfering items for a guildie (was back when it took an hour for mail to your own account) some moron comes up and in says something about givin him a bj or something. i just said "reported dumb ass" and i got a warning for saying ass..lol no need for idiots like that in games where they can interact with people. yes wow has chat filter but what he said wouldn't have gotten censored

i think he said its 16 and up but the only reason it could possible have a rating that high is because of how some people behave (talk) on the internet. nothing to do with the game itself, it seemed more geared twards younger people imo. (alot of fun tho)

and i wouldn't care if it said for 30+ i still wouldn't wanna know if some kid shaves his junk or not

I got into a bit of an arguement with another player in WoW during the AQ opening event.

It's a pvp server and some guilds had agreed to a server wide cease fire.
Not I.
When I killed an Alli player a horde guy proceeds to yell at me over general for not abiding by the cease fire.
I tell him politely that I'm not a member of his guild, or any other one that agreed to the cease fire; nore do they pay my account each month and I won't have my play time dictated by others.

The conversation goes on for a bit.
The other guys makes some comment about surveys says such and such.
I say over over general that I have a survey that says his mother likes the taste of my sac.  Now I thought it was a funny comment, apparently a lot of others thought it was funny.  I sure got enough tells from people telling me they thought it was funny.  The guy I directed it to didn't think it was funny.

I got a three day ban for it.
I was a little upset, but I understand they were just enforcing thier policy.

It's a commen policy for games that aren't explicity marketted towards adults.

Now I did have an issue in CoH many years ago.
Another player had a character name that was very racial in nature and I found extremely offensive.  I sent GM's complaints and pointed ot that the name is rather offensive to people of that race.  They basically said they didn't care because his character name was in character with the toon itself.  I sent an email to Cryptic expressing my concerns with thier naming policy.  I didn't find it right that they were all about preventing players from violating copy rights, and using profaine language, but it was ok to create a charcter with a name that is racially offensive.

They apologized and had the guy had to change his name.
I wasnt' happy with the GM.
NCsoft and Cryptic however, are A Ok in my book.

OP needs to read the ToS and EULA on some of his other MMO's.
They all have the same policy.  You're upset with your warning, ok.
But lashing out against NCsoft only makes you a hypocrit.  Every MMO does the same thing.

i had seen some one with a name in wich i had no idea how they made it to 50 with in wow, reported it and no kidding they had his name changed in less than 15 min..lol was very surprized with how fast it was taken care of, heck they changed it before even sending me a tell about it.

more than likely the guy used it as a reason to get you in trouble by what you said, to get back at you for attackin the alli

If the esrb is 16 plus enuff said people are going to cuss and say all kinds of things if you dont want your kids seeing it be more responsible in what games you think they should play!   The ratings are for a reason not so the soapboxers can have a platform to shove the ole my kids should not have to see that!

and the ESRB rating is moot considering they tell you in the agreement you can't say stuff like that or act like that. and he agreed to it, and not just once i bet it was mutliple times he agreed to it. and i didn't read every single post but i didn't see anyone say they didn't want people talking like that because of their kids, but because they (the adults) don't wanna see it. my daughter has never seen me play an online game nor does she play one, i just think people should have more sense when interacting with people in games and according to the agreement in pretty much EVERY mmo the company that makes the games thinks so too.

You re right esrb is a moot point might as well go ahead and say the triple x on porn movies is ok to set out for any one to see or buy also!  Come on i have 2 kids myself of age to play this game and they are not allowed!  I know what goes on in game and the language that is involved, i do not turn a blind eye to it and expect other folks to respect my kids 1800 miles away.  In return i dont let them play hence defensive driving you could say.  I watch for everyone else and not expect them to adhere to my morals!

At least they just issued a reminder to not do it again, they could have just banned your account outright.

An amazingly simple concept that some people fail to grasp.

You agree to the rules. You break them, you take your lumps.

Don't like the rules? Don't play the game.

It's really quite simple.
