    • Geez i could have conducted a better interview than that with better questions too. If your stuck for questions refer to players who would like to hear what the game has to offer besides the UI and graphics.

    • Lol you would have done the same thing if you were drunk too.

    • What the hell was that, I bet hampsters could have interviewed better than that Keith guy. Dude, like giskard73 said, you should take a public speaking class. I mean if you needed to, take a notebook with you, with questions you would like to ask, that would have been better than just sitting there twiddling your thumbs and hopes that a question would pop in your head to ask. I would have to say YOUR FIRED KEITH!

    • Keith, I feel for you man but you kinda deserver this heat. Worst-Interview-Ever. You should take a public speaking class, have a shot before the interview and, well, yeah, plan what you will ask. YOU CAN DO IT!

    • Great job Hermann and Scott with such a frustrating looking "interview". Can't wait to see more of the game!
  • arcana666(posted Mon Sep 10 2007)
    • Well Jumpgate Evolution sounds really cool but you guys can't just adlib these interviews because it looks aweful. Just a few keywords written on a piece of paper to remind you of points you wanted to raise would have gotten rid of all the awkward silences and nervous laughing! And if you're not going to do that, at least edit out the dodgy bits after lol

    • You guys all complain about how bad the video was when i think it was the best video ever! i laughed my ass off and i swear to god i started choking from how hard i laughed i had an asthma attack, im not joking, i swear i dont think iv ever laughed harder...awkward moments make me laugh so hard and there was about 50, he was the worst interviewer i have ever seen in my entire life, he seriously sat there and laughed when they stopped talking...HAHA WHILE TYPING THIS OUT I GOT TEARS IN MY EYES COZ I CANT STOP LAUGHING!! seriously mmorpg.com mmorpgs are becoming the next big thing and this site is like the hub for all mmorpgs, u must get propper interviewers.. heck man clans interviewing games developers do a better job...lol one last time

    • Ugh, have to agree with most. Not a good interview. Should have started with what the game is actually about and go from there.
  • Theutus(posted Mon Sep 10 2007)
    • He had no pre-planned questions.Um... I'll sit here and laugh akwardly while you interview yourself!! Looks like an interesting game.
  • Nully(posted Sun Sep 09 2007)
    • oh wow that interviewer was...horrid I doubt he has even played the first JumpGate! I could have done a much better job with the interview then he could have, and it would have had allot more feeling and allot less "um"'s
  • premierebori(posted Sat Sep 08 2007)
    • I am excited about this game, but the interviewer is horrendous.
  • tachgb(posted Sat Sep 08 2007)
    • The intererviewer did do an awful job, Hermann Peterscheck was left to interview himself about JG:E.
  • chryses(posted Sat Sep 08 2007)
    • Ok that was hard to watch. Major shame you didn't find a fan of the first game to interview, or at least speak to a fan about what questions they would like to ask. E.g. When is it released?! Jumpgate has a hardcore following and I myself played it for 2 years and have been waiting for a revamp. So wished there were more questions about content and gameplay. BTW I have played EVE for 3.5 years and I would play Jumpgate Evolution along side EVE as its a different style of play and actual flying. However even mining can be heart pumping stuff and so you do need a break after a few hours of play.

    • I have to agree with the first poster. The interviewer was absolutely horrible. All we learned from this is ND are rehashing an old game with new graphics and new AI. What if we don't know what the old game is, how it plays, why it has such a loyal following? My tip would be to have your interviewers write down thier questions ahead of time so they are prepared and don't walk away looking unprofessional. If I was a developer and saw this then I think I would skip a MMORPG interview for someone who is more professional.
  • dancord26(posted Fri Sep 07 2007)
    • i think he did a good job, probably better than most people could do. It seemed there wasn't much you can ask about the game anyway, and they knew what they wanted to cover, i probably woulda done much the same. Cool game though, i hope to hear more from it.
  • trix(posted Fri Sep 07 2007)
    • imo the mmorpg interviewers should wear pink super hero outfits made for girls and spurt random things out during the interview to make them more entertaining.. next time just have the game company make the video how they want and send you a copy.
  • Sythlin(posted Fri Sep 07 2007)
    • Agree ND was on the ball, and really excited about Jumpgate Evo. Keep it up ND, pave the way.

    • I'm an Eve Onine player, and from my perspective NetDevil are trying very hard to make the best game they can. I think a brief comparison to Eve would have inspired thought. For example, unlike Eve, Jumpgate involves piloting your own ship from the cockpit. They also have a Newtonian physics model (almost realistic space flight). There are few space games and more people will play them as the innovations continue. Having better AI is an excellent idea. I like the concept that it generates new situations as players interact with it. I think Eve Online and Jumpgate could learn much from each other. However, I think the big difference between them is the 'levelling' processes. With Eve Online, you learn skill points over time (and financial power is earned by effort). With Jumpgate, I think you attain power only according to the effort you put in. These differences should remain because they will appeal to different sorts of people. I prefer Eve Online, because I like to plan years ahead and I can keep up with my corp even when I am busy with work. However, I know others who would like to attain enourmous power very quickly and Jumpgate is probably better for them.

    • first i thought vesavius is just a not very nice person well now since ive seen the video i can say he is right
  • vesavius(posted Fri Sep 07 2007)
    • My god guys... this is the best interviewer you could find to do this? He is your news manager? Pregnant embarrassing pauses are not a good thing in a professional interview heh. Thank god Netdevil were on the ball, they pulled his but outta the fire so many times. Next time send me a ticket and I will go do this for you ok?
