I have played the trial of JGC, and I am currently an avid Eve player.  Jumpgate really got my blood flowing with the live space flight and my hands on the joystick.. and left me dying to get my hands on Evolution.

My question is how thoroughly is Jumpgate Evolution expected to satisfy Eve players who are accustomed to intense politics and totally free will.  Just for starters I want to know if we will have:

1) Total freedom, the ability to do whatever you want from smuggle, to pirate, to bounty hunting, or hauling.

2) Size matters!  Big ships should be big, newbie ships should be small!  JGC ships are all nearly the same size and that bothers me... a huge freighter should be quite large next to a newbie shuttle.

3) Lots of reasons to group up.... playing with others is usually more fun... encourage group mining operations, group fleet operations etc.  Also offer solo content for those who play at odd hours or are just plain anti-social (smuggling etc.)

Thats all I've got off the top of my head, but basically I would like you to reassure me that JGE is not going to let down the many Eve players I'm certain will give it a try!!!!

I just hope that smaller ships will continue to have a role as the player becomes more experienced.  I would love to see huge capitol ships duking it out but the victor is the team that uses their capitol ships and small interceptors and bombers effectivly.  I really don't want to see every experienced player in the capitol ships, would be way too much like end game armor in many fantasy MMOs...

 1 and 3 are already established in the current Jumpgate. That's why it has lasted so long.  Every indication is that it will be the same in the new version and probably even better with more options.

As far as 2, it's hard to tell yet but from the screen shots that are out there it apears there is much more disparity in ship sizes.
