This brings back some memories. I was with the dark path for ages, US beta and EU jumpgate, they were good times (daydreaming). It would be nice to see some of those old faces again. In the end I joined Solrain Legion, some of us are still together waiting on JGE. www.sol-legion.net

I wonder how they will handle the SaveZone & PVE vs Pirating & PVP issues.

I was the Founder of the Spacepirates in the US and EU Beta and TDP was our Ally in these times.

So long as theres nothing as harsh as EvE's Concord method I dont mind.

It would be nice to get some simple information on these issues but I guess it's still early doors.

HG didn't "POD" , but decadence hell yeah I did POD but HG still was funnier , shame we got the whole server on us ...well not a shame was hella fun

Other great time was when i poded some tow for 1.000.000 and he went ranting to german foruns....35 pages all against me and Decadence .... damn I had so much time in my hands lol

I was a member of the Imperial Octavian Navy (ION), though it fizzled out once the game started losing people.

I always wanted to get back into the game, but with so few people around, I just couldn't do so. It sounds like the developers have some idea of the past problems, and are going to make the universe more lively (which is what it always needed) and more involved.

I was a hard working trader in JG, and was known for my placid nature and generous approach to game play.

I started during the second phase of the original US beta and played for a few years on the EU. It was the best and most absorbing game I have ever played before or since (and that includes the original Elite on the BBC micro).

I must add a few words of caution...

The original Jumpgate was addictive and totally immersive, I know players who got divorced because of it, got married as a result of it and in some cases both. I know players who lost jobs, girlfriends, houses and a few who lost their lives playing it (well not whilst actually playing it).

It took me years to finally quit JG and rebuild my life; I am now happily married, and have a great job and a lovely house...........

Well the way the new tag system is handled in JGC is, you can only gain kill stats via mil vs mil. You will not gain any kill is mil does not match mil, even in unregulated space.

The Military tags will require a player to do 10 missions before they can take it off.
