Will it be first person view from inside the ship or 3rd person view liek in Eve?
As far as I know definitely first person and third person.
A view with actual cockpit graphics would be the third option.
I just found an older forum thread about this here:

Not sure if the actual cockpit graphics are finished yet.
Maybe there's someone else here on the forum who follows JGE development closely and could answer that.

Must admit the screenshots do give me this "I want to try the game" which is pure based on it's looks, the game itself I am not so sure just yet.
The new shots weren't uploaded yet, I had turned the news item on and off so it would produce a thread and I could get the thread link for the feature article with the screenshots. Apparently, turning it off didn't remove the thread so you guys were still able to see it!
You live, you learn. In the future, I will have to finish everything first and connect to the feature after. :)

I think the screenshots look good. I am certain I will at least give the game a try.
It does not look bad,but the little light trails from the engins looks really stupid.Its like the smoke trails from the ships in swg,did you see smoke trails in the movies in space? You can make your ships look like they are moving with the stars and planet enviroments. Eve has the best ship animations in a space game period.
So is this a module or expansion of EVE?
