I agree, if those are actual in game footage shots it looks amazing!

I like the graphics overall, but I am not crazy about all the bright colored trails the ships leave.   I think graphically the game looks a lot less impressive after seeing video of Black Prophecy, but JGE is probably more robust in terms of gameplay.

Well, Black Prophecy has different graphics. They are more of EVE type of graphics, more real I'd say. JGE is very colorful and awe inspiring. Plus BP already has cockpits in, thats a big draw for JGE. But both games will be fun me thinks. I'll try both and then decide which one I'll stick with. BP seems more 'mature' game. I don't know how to explain it. JGE is more flashy, exciting colors and stuff, arcade type crazy exciting shooter.

Some people compared JGE to WoW in space :). I guess there will be a bit of confrontation between these 2 games. BP doesn't have publisher at this point but as soon as they find one they will most likely start beta programm. They said they have everything ready for Beta.

Also I've noticed that BP graphics engine is fully based on DX10 while JGE will allow to be played on low end PCs as well.

Screenies like this with some additional AAs will probably beat any graphics out there :), they look more like a 3D Vantage benchmark graphics than a real game:

I am excited about both games. Problem with BP can be that they may not get as good distribution being a German developing company. Marketing campaign is everything these days. I wish them best of luck too.
