No player avatars though.   No walking around space stations, or on ships or planets.   Bah...just another EVE but with twitch combat.   ::sigh::

Something that sounds like EVE with fresh start and twitch combat is exactly why I am so looking forward to it.

Agreed, I played EVE many moons ago and it was a good game, but the combat was un-eventfull and much of the game itself was just tedious. The only good thing about EVE is that it is like a browser that connects you to a social network and artificial economy.

I'm going to try out JGE due to it being a fresh take on the space MMORPG, as EVE became stale long ago for me.

Hurry up and release it already!

I never played the original Jumpgate, but i did play "Earth and Beyond" until it's untimely demise..a game which i enjoyed thoroughly. I've been waiting for a similar but updated game...hoping this is it.
