Bounty Bay Online is a free-to-play historical nautical MMORPG that sets players up as pirates and explorers of the 14th to 16th centuries. In the time of seafaring legends, such as Christopher Columbus, James Cook, and Vasco da Gama, players may take to the seas in their own ships to fight outlaws and mythical creatures, navigate the ever-changing political climate, or seek a less adventurous lifestyle as a farmer or craftsman. In BBO, players write the history of the world.
The folks at Frogster and Bounty Bay Online have just announced a brand new expansion called "Raging Seas". The update is set to bring tons of new content to the game, including ships, missions and a new instance to boot.
Frogster has announced that the latest content expansion for its seafaring MMO, Bounty Bay Online, has gone live. Called 'Atlantis', the new content gives high-level players new features including two new regions with multi-level instances and adjustable difficulty settings. Players can expect new armor sets with new bonuses, an achievement system for explorers, an increased level cap, a crafting system, and more.
Bounty Bay Online devs are revealing the second region to be featured in the Atlantis update set to arrive soon. The Northern Islands are snow covered, forbidding places. Players will face off against polar bears, fur-clad islanders, snow monsters and more.
Frogster has announced that the fourth expansion to Bounty Bay Online will be released in 'Autumn 2010'. Called "Atlantis", the expansion will give high level players the chance to explore the sunken city of Atlantis in the pirate-themed game. In addition, the level cap will be raised to 150.
Five new classes will be added to Bounty Bay Online as part of the new "Beyond the Horizon" expansion announced today. The five new classes to be introduced to the game with Beyond the Horizon include: the Royal Military Officer, Imperial Guardian, Carribean Pirate, Treasure Hunter, and Armed Businessman.
