I thought the first demo I saw of this was not really much of an FPS look to it.  I could be wrong.

I am what you would classify as a "classic" MMORPG player, and even I excell to the point of nausiam at FPS games.

So, I'll get right to the point. If all you play are games like WoW, do NOT EVER accept the roll of game player for a first time playthrough video....you WILL embarass yourself. This is nothing against you Stradden, but you guys need someone who plays FPS, and someone who plays MMO's.

Then again, some of the MMO "gameplay vidoes" that have been posted on here have the player running around like he's drunk. They DO set these games up with controls similar to other games, so not having face time with the game prior to videotaping isn't an excuse :/.

I forgot to mention, The Agency looks like trash regardless of the player's abilities.

A wallhack skill....wow what terrible game design.  Everyone in any shooter already complains/plays a sniper to gank, you seals your own fate with this one.  Expect massive outcries about this ability on your forums.

I really think MMORPG.com needs some new staff that plays FPSs more often. Or at least plays more of a variety. I love the guys here, but I mean come on. "How do I switch weapons?" It's exactly the way you do it in every other shooter. No offense though.

The game looks interesting; I like the idea.

Its amazing how bad gamers who only play MMO's are at every other type of game.  Even the hybrid games throw them off a ton.

And at the person who said that anyone would look as clumsy, thats just wrong.  Unless an FPS is drastically different from the spectrum of games that has been released, I would definitely destroy most of the people who work for this site having never even known the controls.

The sensitivity was way to high for him. The game looks fun though, I'd play it if it wasn't subbed, maybe they'll go the way GA did and remove the sub option. You people saying "it's just another FPS" are too picky!

I suspect this game will become more unique after its release and a few major updates in...since it's considered an MMO, its gotta have major and unique updates to classes and pve/pvp content right? I mean, just look at GA, they've made some huge changes to the game, and it's looking more fun than ever before, not to mention they  took out the subscription option for AvA, so it's free to everyone now.

doesnt this game have an OPTIONAL sub, it only limits you away from difrent areas and posibly items, i would pay for free even if they did not give me a full package (aslong as its somewhat worthwhile)

What is the deal lately with these FPS devs trying to recast their games as RPGs. That was just Quake or COD or some other fill in the name FPS with a face lift. His description of the "ladder" system for agency compatition is just a FPS matching service. Dude if I want coop I'll play Left for Dead and sequal as they already beat you to it. MMORPG.com I don't care what your written definition of an RPG is but that is not one from the "reasonable expectation" position of an MMORPG player. If the guy was a better player he proly would have been bunny hopping all over the map, chucking nades and owning everyone!

No wonder Activision have this stupid notion that they can make a COD persistent world online game, when they see this.

I love how these companies jump on this "persistent world servers" buzz phrase as if its something new.  Who the hell do they think they're kidding?  COD and other games have had servers online 24/7 for years.  An MMO is more than just having "persistent servers".

Agency is looking pretty sweet, though I can imagine the recon is not for beginners, they shoulda gave him the Assault to play with.

@ people whining about the "wallhakc" skill, Skills that show enemies on the radar are in pretty much every modern shooter, it's balanced if it's on cooldown / costs energy etc.

Wow so i gotta say, the guy has to be a pure mmo player, he sucks at shooters big time, and looking down at the keyboard for pressing shift? Come on. But something that amazed me is that he is doing a review, and he is asking questions that were already answered. Like when he asks for if there is single player too, the game designer just went on for 3 minutes about it before he asked!

I dont see anything spy-ish about this game, and to everyone hating on the guy he obviously isnt a big FPS player jus give him a break...I mean he does work for a MMO site.

PvP doesn't look as "spy-like" except for the end of a Bond movie like Dr. No possibly. PvE from last year looked a lot like spy type work from any typical spy movie or TV show. May have to check this game out whenever it comes out. Cool!

I think any number of fps games out would be a far superior experience.  But if you want to pay a monthly fee to play pretty much the same thing I guess this game is for you.

I like that companies are trying to get FPS into MMOs as I think thats one of the best ways to get skill involved in them. However, all of the attempts so far are just normal FPS games which charge you for a lobby and levelling.

I think we still need to wait for the next generation of MMOFPS before we get anything decent.

FPS; not a MMORPG. FPS can be fun and better games than MMOS, but it's not a RPG. A FPS online.

I won't pay a sub for a FPS online. I can play FPS with multiplayer option for only the price of the game.

OK, so why play this over CoD?

I think the game looks great for a fps, although it wasnt what I was expecting when I first heard about it.  When I first read about it and seen screnshots it looked really good, like a spy espinoge game that had lots of ins and outs and a 3rd person playstyle kinda like resident evil.  This game is a first person shooter I didnt relize untill this video. 

Even so it still looks fun, and I would defenetly play it.
