The people who come here (any MMORPG.com Forum) to bash whatever game they USED to play... are just so damn pathetic. People who are here promoting the game, or curious about it, or just learning about it - they make sense. I can understand why they are here. But the people that downright hate the game and have nothing better to do than to sit in their parent's basement trolling forums of games they hate, just to piss and moan and stamp their feet like little 4 year olds screaming 'liar' and 'fanboi'... Christ, those people really need to grow the fuck up, lol

It's a natural reaction when you see something you don't agree with to post your own viewpoint. Some games (not necessarily this one) you can't even see which game some of the 'fans' have been playing.

It's just a little balance. I doubt anybody really pays much attention to either the genuine fans or those constantly criticising the game.

critisising something is one thing

spitefull trolling and bitching on every single thread and checking daily is just to bitch is pathetic.

imo a lot of the critisism is justified, amount of times KK have said things they are going to do that doesnt happened, or the server crashes etc.

adding some changes to the landscape or weapons was never a problem with the game, sure there nice but more important things needed to be sorted out in the game.

memory leaks last time i played(admitadly was back in may)were bad, lucky to get a few housrs play before you had to restart.

really you dont see how bad the problems are with NC until you play other games.

I actually found quite the opposite to be true. I've played many other games - PS, SWG, RYL, CoH, AO, MxO.... and I played them all for more than two weeks, whether I liked it or not, just to try to give them a fair go.

What I found was that they were all buggy in some way, with the exception of CoH being the least buggy. And every single one of them had very negative 'doomsayer' commuities. In-game you constantly here "This game sucks, this game is dying, what a pile of crap..." - all on the public channels. Then there are games where the Public channels aren't even worth having on because the overall game popultion has an average age of 12 (RYL, MxO).

I've played a lot of other games - I'm always looking for my "next Neocron". Playing other games hasn't helped me see 'how bad' the problems are with NC, but how much NC is really like every other piece of software out there.

And to be fair - hate KK's plan file writers & conceivers, not the whole of KK. I think Reakktor used to be one of those operations where they gave the devs the plan files the same day they posted them. Judging by 2.1 though, they're getting things done FIRST, and then announcing them.... which would be a huge evolutionary (no pun intended) step forward for the company as software developers.

I'd come back, and I'm sure loads of others will. Trying to pander to the fantasy crowd by putting in overpowered wizards is ridiculous - they aren't going to play it anyway.
