I contacted Reakktor in regards to the supposedly offered Free trial, which i cannot get because Click2pay doesn't work here's the response i got.

"Dear "What Would have been a Customer",

Thank you for your request. At present, there are only 3 options for playing
the game:

1. Click2pay Trial (the ONLY trial option - which you must cancel before the
10th day so you are not charged)

2. Paybycash (pay up front to play - purchase the game and pay for the first
month)

3. Retail version (buy an unused CD key at a retail outlet and we can manually

create the account for you with the unused CD key)

If the click2pay method does not work for you, you may live in a country which
does not support the service.

Here's my Response.

That's absolutely unacceptable for a game that offers a free Trial, and not giving one. I've heard tons of complaints about click2pay in the past which shied my away from playing. Now i can't even create an account with them to try to play after giving it some time. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I am not asking for anything which isn't already stated you provide on your website. A 14 day trial account with the option to upgrade to a full subscription after the 14 days have expired. I live in the United States, your website is in english, the second country option in your account creation menu is United States. So you're telling me that Click2pay does not offer service in my Country, a Country that was obviously second in your Release, absurd, no wonder your game is dieing. I apologize for being blunt but that's ridiculous, and should be noted on the mainpage of either your account creation menu, or website in regards to the free trial.

Am I wrong? I probably shouldn't have even bothered. Oh well I'm moving on to Fallen Earth, and telling people to avoid Black Prophecy, because i'm sure this is destined to be what becomes of it after Reakktor foolishly throws away the money they earned again. Isn't that why you can't pay directly with Paypal anymore? On top of that they're redirecting me to the black prophecy website, what a bunch of tools.

Then they should take their website down, or update it to the point where it takes the free trial offer away. Like I said, ridiculous. I'd say they were milking it for every penny but they offered to make me an account with a retail key. BUnch of Idiots is all i can really say, it's probably running on some old dual xeon server in the corner of their dev room or something.

Since Black Prophecy is published by Gamigo as opposed to Neocron, you won't have the same problems with it. The payment will be done via Gamigo and they offer quite a number of different methods such as credit card and PayPal.

Regarding Neocron: It's a shame really. It was my favourite MMO.

That's all well and good. Gamingo may be a fantastic publishing house. However Reakktor media has pretty much shown through Neocron that they could care less about the people who play their games. Neocron being up right now doesn't really matter if there's only a few people playing, and it's not costing them any money to run it either. The fact that they're letting people play for free, but not allowing people to buy the game with an acceptable solution, is very sad. If this is how Reakktor wants to handle potential customers, they can count me out on Black Prophecy, which didn't really look all that amazing in the first place. I'll continue playing EVE and Fallen Earth, and waiting for Infinity, hopefully one day a good Cyberpunk MMO will come out and be well maintained. Neocron sounded like exactly what i wanted to play, it's a damn shame. Neocron's community sounded like a good bunch of fellows as well.

Reakktor had problems with their last publisher, which is the reason you can't buy the game anymore.

Now that being said, you wouldn't want the game anyways. As it's already been said 30-40 max people online at it's prime right now.

This will always be my favorite MMO, I played it every single day for over 2 years straight. It held my attention more than any other game until Neocron: Dome of York (named later to Neocron 2) was released. They ruined the game with all the changes, I (along with pretty much everyone else) left the game.

Reakktor is an awesome development team with great ideas, but they don't make the best choices.

For the record, I am actually enjoying black prophecy, but it will never fill the void of NC1.

People still play? I would have thought Nidhogg would have banned everyone by now.

Reakktor broke a lot of promises with this game, and the moderators banning people that didn't even violate the ToS sure didn't help this game either.
