You should look at the Neocron forums, and do a search there. You can get new crosshairs, so yes, I would imagine that if you put a blank page in the file that contains the crosshair graphics, you could delete the crosshair altogether. :)

can i ask why you would want to, removing the crosshair also removes the lock-on recticle so you will have to use your own judgement when you *think* you have a lock on... which could be hard with certian weapons like cannons and the long range rifles...

I see why you wonder. I use shutterglasses when I play (together with nVidias stereo driver they produce a stereoscopic, true 3D depth image of the screen). In order to aim I need to disable the 2D crosshair and use nVidias 3D crosshair instead. I know, for people unfamiliar with shutterglasses it´s hard to grasp, but I actually play in true 3D.
