I downloaded the client from gamershell got it installed with no problem but when I press the play neocron button on the launcher it says connecting to server but nothing happens at all like theres no servers to connect to. Can anyone help please?

I have the very same problem.

On top of that I can't seem to load the official forums either.

The servers are all now up and operational. The staff banned a lot of hackers all at once and was subsequently then hit with a DDoS.  Everything is good to go, now.
