"Appleogies"-Evil Prince Ludwig The Indestructable

Ok, so for quite some time now I've been looking for a new MMO. Something fast paced, where you have to mow down HORDES of mobs at a time... In other words I was looking for something that would shorten the wait for Diablo III. Dungeon Runners didn't really do thing for me, it lacked feeling of mowing down your enemies that Diablo II had. Then I found Mythos. I was overjoyed. So I proceeded to apply for the beta, and suddenly I noticed that my country (Lithuania), along with Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus some other European and many Asian countries, is in the list of countries that won't be playing the beta because our versions of the game need to be localized. The fact that I won't be able to play the beta was, of course, rather disapointing, but the thing that frightened me most was the "localization". It will probably mean that that countries, or groups of countries, will have their own servers and maybe the game client will be translated into a dominant language of that region. Now, what troubles me is that my country, along with the other Baltic states, will most probably fall into the same group as Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, which will be almost entierly Russian-speaking. For Ukraine and Belarus this isn't much of a problem, as most of the people know Russian and use the cyrilic alphabet, but Lithuania, Latvia (with the exception of it's rather large Russian-speaking minority) and Estonia will have a problem, as most of the people born in the mid-80'ies or later hardly know any Russian. So does anyone know any details of localization or a way of playing on the "western" server?

It wont be too hard to get a english/american version shipped and that should allow you to play on those servers.  Its never stopped most people when they run into these problems on other games.

You should be fine.

Well this works with EQII and AoC which are also "localized", but isn't Mythos f2p and only available to download? It won't really be a problem to  GET the English version, it's just that they'll probably ban the ip's of anyone who tries playing from one of the countries on the list.

PS: another thing that scares me about the localization is the community. Ever tried playing on an Eastern Europe based L2 private server? Yikes... When we're on a global server, we're not that noticable, but put us all in a bunch... In other words the GM's will have a good time...
